‘I’m fine now, thank you everyone,’ rescued hostage Almog Meir Jan tells media

Almog Meir Jan makes his first comments to the media after he was rescued from eight-month captivity in Gaza earlier today.
“Thank you, thank you everyone, Am Yisrael Chai,” he tells Kan public radio. “I’m completely fine now, I’m with the supportive family. Thanks for everything.”
His mother Orit tells the radio station that his true condition remains to be seen, adding that the family is deeply moved and there is a “flood of emotions” as many have visited him today at the hospital.
