Iran threatens to expand its attacks to strategic Bab el-Mandab Strait

Iran could open a new front in the Bab el-Mandab Strait if attacks are carried out on Iranian territory or its islands, Iran’s semi-official Tasnim cites an unnamed Iranian military source as saying.

Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi group has previously launched attacks in the region where the strategic Bab el-Mandab Strait is located.
