Two firefighters fall into a hole while trying to rescue a boy who had plunged inside and lost consciousness in the northern village of Deir al-Asad.

The firefighters are pulled out by other rescuers at the scene after they lost consciousness from the fall, and medics try to revive them, according to a Magen David Ambulance service statement.

The two are taken to Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya in critical condition.

Rescue workers on the scene are still trying to pull the child from the hole, where he remained unconscious.
