A 10-year-old boy was critically injured on Monday night after falling from the fifth story of an apartment building in the southern city of Beersheba.
Magen David Adom paramedics took the child to the trauma ward of Soroka Medical Center with head injuries.
The incident occurred around 11 p.m. Police arrived on the scene shortly thereafter and began investigating the circumstances of the boy’s fall.
On Tuesday, he was still in serious condition but was stable and connected to a respirator. He sustained severe head injuries and internal injuries to his stomach.
