A 28-year-old Palestinian man sustained moderate injuries after being stabbed outside of Jerusalem on Monday night in an incident believed to have been of criminal, rather than terrorist, nature.

Magen David Adom paramedics treated the victim at the Beit Jala Junction on Route 60, where the attack took place.

He was then evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in the capital to receive further care for upper body wounds.
