Clashes break out in Wadi Ara over police shooting; officers use stun grenades
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePolice use stun grenades to disperse demonstrators blocking Route 65 in Wadi Ara in northern Israel as protests over the death of an Arab man shot several times by security guards yesterday deteriorated into clashes.
“We will sacrifice our lives for the martyr,” protesters shout following the death of Mustafa Yunes, 26, of the northern Arab town of Arara, who was shot dead outside Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan after pulling a knife on a security guard.
Video shows the guards shooting at Yunes several times as he lies on the ground.
