Members of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee take shelter during an Iranian missile attack, which interrupts a special closed session in which they were receiving an operational intelligence review of Operation Roaring Lion as well as holding a vote approving the declaration of a “special situation” on the home front.
During the attack, members of the committee from both the coalition and opposition take shelter in the Knesset Diaspora Committee’s chamber, which is reinforced as a bomb shelter. The lawmakers snap a selfie together in a show of wartime unity.
