Miri Regev appointed transportation minister, will become FM
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleOutgoing culture minister Miri Regev will serve as transportation and national infrastructures minister, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says in a statement, adding that Regev will serve as foreign minister when the coalition rotates in 18 months time.
“Miri Regev has shown as culture minister that she knows how to lead groundbreaking reforms,” says Netanyahu.
The prime minister adds: “ Furthermore, I have decided that in another year and a half, Regev will take up the position of foreign minister of Israel, one of the most senior and important positions in the leadership of the country.”
Regev will also serve on the Security Political Cabinet and the Judicial Appointments Committee.
