Police commander in north probed on suspicion of misconduct with 2 subordinates
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA police station commander in northern Israel is being probed on suspicion of sexually harassing a female officer subordinate to him, and having illicit romantic relations with another policewoman at the station, The Times of Israel has learned.
He was interrogated last night by detectives in the Department of Internal Police Investigations, a body in the State Attorney’s Office that investigates police.
He was released after questioning, subject to restrictions, including a 12-day ban from the station premises. He is also forbidden from contacting officers who serve under him.
Neither the commander nor his station are named in the announcement of the investigation.
