Almost all schools and kindergartens to fully reopen on Sunday

Almost all schools and kindergartens will fully reopen on Sunday after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu decided to adopt the plan formulated by the director-general of the Prime Minister’s Office, Ronen Peretz, together with the National Security Council, the Health Ministry, the Education Ministry and local authorities.

The plan still requires cabinet approval.

But in towns with high morbidity rates, schools will remain closed. Bnei Brak, Beit Shemesh and neighborhoods of Jerusalem are among the communities that will not be able to open Sunday.

Local authorities will decide when exactly each age group returns.
