For the first time in three years, Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv has made the Euroleague’s Final Four after a brilliant home victory over Emporio Armani Milan.

In front of a sold-out Nokia Arena on Wednesday, the Israelis cruised to a solid 86:66 win, taking the series 3-1.

This will be Maccabi Tel Aviv’s 12th appearance in the Final Four since the current format was initiated in 1988.

Ricky Hickman and Alex Tyus led the scoring for the home team with 16 points each.

Milan had been leading 56:54 after three quarters when Maccabi went on an 11-2 run that put them ahead for the rest of the game.

The Israeli team is the second to make the Final Four, following FC Barcelona. The last two spots have yet to be clinched.

Maccabi Tel Aviv will continue its quest for a sixth European championship in May.
