Palestinian sources reported Saturday that a 21-year-old Gaza man who was allegedly shot by the IDF on Friday had died from his wounds.

According to reports from the Strip, at least five other individuals were injured in the same incident as a result of Israeli fire.

The IDF reported that a group of Palestinian protesters was suspected of cutting through the border fence between Israel and Gaza on Friday. Israeli forces said they apprehended a suspect during the incident, and that when other protesters did not heed warnings to distance themselves from the fence, they shot toward the feet of another protester.
