After warning occupants, IDF destroys Gaza tower used by AP, Al Jazeera, others
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Israel Defense Forces destroyed the Al Jalaa tower in Gaza. The building houses several media outlets in Gaza, including The Associated Press and Al Jazeera.
The military earlier called occupants and told them the building would be bombed within an hour. It also sent a “roof-knocking” missile that does not cause serious damage as a warning to leave.
In addition to its civilian occupants, Channel 12 news’ military reporter speculates that “buildings such as this” include “cyber centers, weapons stores and various communications hubs” used by Gaza’s terror groups.
