MANAMA, Bahrain — Bahrain’s army says its air defenses repelled a wave of Iranian attacks, as an AFP journalist in Manama reports hearing blasts after sirens sounded.
“Air defense systems thwarted” the attacks, the army says in a statement, adding that they “intercepted and destroyed a number of treacherous Iranian aerial assaults.”
