Bar-Ilan University launches research center to study post-traumatic effects of Oct 7

Bar-Ilan University says it is establishing a groundbreaking multidisciplinary research center dedicated to studying the post-traumatic consequences of the October 7 attacks and the subsequent war in Gaza, Lebanon, and other fronts.
The research in trauma and resilience will be designed for eventual clinical practice. The center will also serve as a major hub for academic and research training in trauma studies.
The center will be headed by Bar-Ilan University researchers Prof. Rivka Tuval-Mashiach, Prof. Danny Horesh, and Dr. Yael Shoval-Zuckerman.
