Ben-Gvir: Coalition with Ra’am would limit Israel’s ability to act in Gaza
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleFar-right extremist lawmaker-to-be Itamar Ben-Gvir further sinks the prospects of forming a coalition with the Islamist Ra’am party, telling the Kan public broadcaster that such a coalition would have “no hope.”
“If tomorrow [Palestinian terrorists] slaughter at a kindergarten in Sderot, the prime minister will have to get an approval from [Ra’am chairman Mansour] Abbas and the rest of his party members to launch counter-operations in Gaza,” Ben-Gvir says.
“That’s not a real option.”
