Chief rabbi vs. Smotrich: Synagogues are open to everyone

Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi David Lau offers tacit criticism of Religious Zionism MK Bezalel Smotrich, after the lawmaker called for members of the current government to be barred from synagogues.
“Synagogues are open to everyone, always, and anyone who wants to pray in them is invited to do so, regardless of their political opinions and their worldview,” Lau says.
