Germany to Palestinian Authority: ‘Distance yourself from terror’

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock urges the Palestinian Authority to reject “terror” after the surprise Hamas assault on Israel.
“To the Palestinian leadership we say clearly: Distance yourself from this terror,” Baerbock says ahead of an emergency meeting of EU foreign ministers to which top diplomats from Israel and the Palestinian Authority are also invited.
“It cannot be justified. As the Palestinian Authority you have a duty, also to your own people.”
