Three Hamas weapon depots in the Gaza Strip were struck last week to remove a threat to Israeli troops, the military says.

According to the IDF, the facilities were used to store explosive devices, assault rifles, sniper rifles, and other equipment. At one site, 10 pickup trucks used by Hamas were also destroyed, the military says.

“The weapons were intended to be used against IDF troops operating in the area of the Yellow Line and Israeli civilians,” the IDF says, adding that the weapons were destroyed “to remove the threat.”
