The Israel Defense Forces says an explosion caused minor damage to a section of the security wall on the Lebanon border near the northern kibbutz of Hanita.

Troops are responding with artillery fire toward Lebanon in the area, the IDF says.

A suspected infiltration alert sounds in Hanita, as the IDF says it is scanning the area for possible suspects that infiltrated into Israel.
