IDF says it destroyed Hezbollah tunnel in southern Lebanon

A Hezbollah tunnel spanning dozens of meters in the southern Lebanon village of Srebbine was demolished by combat engineers in recent days, the military says.

The IDF says troops of the 300th “Baram” Regional Brigade and elite Yahalom combat engineering unit carried out “targeted activity” in Srebbine, during which forces demolished the tunnel, which had been used by Hezbollah to advance attacks.

Elsewhere in southern Lebanon, troops of the Kfir Brigade discovered and demolished a cache of weapons that included Hezbollah rockets and launchers, and reservists of the Kiryati Brigade located dozens more weapons, the army adds.
