IDF says several tunnel shafts destroyed in Rafah over past day

Several tunnel shafts were demolished during ongoing operations by the IDF’s 162nd Division in southern Gaza’s Rafah over the past day, the military says.
The IDF says airstrikes were also carried out against an anti-tank missile launch post used in an attack on troops, and another cell of gunmen in the Rafah area.
Meanwhile, in Gaza City, troops with the 99th Division killed several gunmen in close-quarters combat in the past day, the IDF says.
An airstrike was also carried out against a cell planting explosives in the area, it adds.
