The IDF says reservists of the 55th Paratroopers Brigade seized weapons during recent ground operations in southern Syria.

The reserve brigade was called up in recent months for “proactive defense missions” under the 210th “Bashan” Regional Division, “to maintain the security of the residents of the State of Israel and the residents of the Golan Heights in particular,” the military says.

During scans in southern Syria, the IDF says the troops located rocket parts, RPGs, and other firearms. All of the weapons were then destroyed, it adds.
