Kuwait says it’s intercepting Iranian attacks; sirens sound in Bahrain
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleKuwait says it is intercepting Iranian attacks, as sirens sound in Bahrain, with AFP correspondents in the capitals of both countries hearing explosions.
“Kuwaiti air defense is currently intercepting hostile missile and drone attacks as part of the heinous Iranian aggression,” the Kuwaiti defense ministry says on X.
The Bahraini interior ministry says in a separate statement that sirens had sounded and called on residents to “head to the nearest safe place.”
