Lapid says Israel has ‘moral responsibility’ to recognize Armenian genocide
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleYesh Atid leader Yair Lapid praises US President Joe Biden’s recognition of the Armenian genocide as “an important moral statement.”
Lapid has pushed in recent years for Israel to also recognize the Armenian genocide.
“I will continue to fight for Israeli recognition of the Armenian genocide, it is our moral responsibility as the Jewish state,” he says in a statement.
