Man questioned in Histadrut corruption probe reportedly dies by suicide
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA man who was questioned by police in a far-reaching corruption probe surrounding the Histadrut trade federation has died by suicide, Hebrew outlets report.
The witness reportedly took his own life yesterday. He was said to be in charge of inspection in the building where Histadrut chief Arnon Bar-David, one of the central suspects in the case, lives.
Just a few days before his death, the witness was called to the police’s Lahav 433 major crimes unit where he gave testimony to Tax Authority investigators about work he did in Bar-David’s home. He was released afterwards, Kan reports.
