A man in his 30s is seriously wounded in a car-ramming attack near the West Bank’s Fawwar camp, the Magen David Adom ambulance service says.

The man is being taken to a hospital for treatment.

MDA adds that a 45-year-old man in a civilian car was lightly wounded by shrapnel in the incident as well.

The man drove from the scene to the Otniel junction where he met up with medics. Two others in the car, a man and a young boy, are being treated for acute anxiety, MDA adds.

According to a military source, the assailant fled the scene following the attack. A large number of forces are currently chasing after him, and the army is imposing a closure on Hebron amid the pursuit.
