Netanyahu: We are exacting a heavy price on Hamas, operation will continue
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel is exacting a heavy toll on Hamas in the Gaza Strip and will continue with the operation for as long as needed.
“I said that we would exact a very heavy price on Hamas, we are doing this and we will continue with great force. The final word has not been said and this operation will continue for as long as needed,” Netanyahu says in a statement from his office.

The prime minister says Israel is dealing with a two-pronged struggle, the fighting in Gaza and the Jewish-Arab conflicts inside the country. He vows to restore law and order, and calls on Israelis not to take the law into their own hands.
