Palestinian shot, arrested in daylight security operation in Tulkarm

Undercover officers arrest a wanted Palestinian in the West Bank city of Tulkarm in a rare daylight operation, police say.
The suspect initially fled when officers tried to detain him. He was then shot and taken into custody, police say.
Clashes erupted at the scene, near the local Khadouri University, according to police.
Police say that during the clashes, an armed man was identified by the officers in the area, and they opened fire at him.
The Palestinian Health Ministry reports that two people are shot during the incident.
