PMO rejects report on home spending, says expenses far lower than predecessor’s

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s office rejects a Channel 13 report from last night on supposed extravagant spending at his Ra’anana home, saying its expenses are far lower than those of his predecessor.

Bennett’s office says spending at his home (on cleaning, workers, and food) amounts to NIS 87,700 ($26,890) a month, compared to NIS 280,000 ($86,000) spent monthly at Benjamin Netanyahu’s two residences in Jerusalem and Caesarea.

The PMO welcomes the media’s job to review and criticize the government “so long as facts and truth are the basis, and that there is not a cynical use of the media platform.”
