Sirens in northern areas were false alarm, IDF says

IDF Spokesperson Hidai Zilberman says the rocket sirens heard in northern Israel, in the Jezreel Valley and Lower Galilee, were the result of a false alarm.
“There was no rocket [heading] to the Jezreel Valley,” Zilberman says.
The sirens were apparently triggered by a miscalculation of a rocket’s trajectory during a barrage aimed at central Israel, he says.
