Haifa’s Technion-Israel Institute of Technology is ranked first in Israel and Europe and 21st worldwide in the international CSRankings index for computer sciences, the university says.

The ranking is based on the number of peer-reviewed conference papers published by Technion researchers between 2005 and 2025 at the world’s leading conferences in a variety of AI subfields, placing it among the world’s top 60 universities in each.

In Machine Learning, the Technion is ranked first in Israel, first in Europe, and 10th worldwide.

“Hundreds of our faculty members apply advanced AI-based methods across a wide range of fields, including data science, medical research, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, architecture, and biology,” says Prof. Danny Raz, Technion’s senior executive vice president.
