Three Palestinian minors were hospitalized this evening after being beaten by IDF soldiers during a military raid in the city of al-Bireh, near Ramallah in the central West Bank, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society says.
Another two young men were treated in the field after inhaling tear gas, the Red Crescent says.
WAFA, the Palestinian Authority’s official news agency, says Israeli forces opened fire on a car in the city, without injuring anyone.
After shooting at the car, the soldiers reportedly clashed with locals, throwing teargas canisters and briefly detaining people, including the three minors who were hospitalized for the beating they took during their detention, according to the Red Crescent.
The IDF does not immediately respond to a request for comment.
