An Israeli man and his two sons were arrested in Turkey on Tuesday for an outlandish attempt to get on a plane at Istanbul’s international airport.
The three travelers missed a flight back to Israel, apparently arriving at their gate after the plane’s doors had closed.
They broke into the boarding bridge that had led to the plane, after the aircraft had moved away, and attempted to stop the flight from taking off.
Footage showed one of the Israelis jumping out of the bridge onto the runway and approaching the plane, apparently as part of their attempt to halt the flight.
They were arrested by security officers and taken to a police station.
