Bennett announces first two members of his party’s electoral slate

Former prime minister Naftali Bennett announces the first two members of his party slate in the upcoming elections, which are set to take place in October at the latest.
They are Keren Terner, who resigned as director-general of the Finance Ministry in 2021, and Liran Avisar Ben Horin, who resigned as director-general of the Communications Ministry in 2023.
Both resigned amid disagreements with ministers from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party, and have since moved to the private sector.
“Keren and Liran are the most professional and experienced women in management in Israel, with a deep love for our land and the citizens of Israel,” says Bennett on X.
The right-wing former premier is running to unseat Netanyahu. Polls regularly show his party, temporarily called Bennett 2026, to be the largest party in the Zionist opposition bloc.
