Clashes as forces attempt to evacuate settlers from outpost built outside Palestinian home

Clashes are currently taking place between settlers who established an outpost at the entrance to two Palestinian homes on the outskirts of the Palestinian village of Qusra and Israeli security forces who arrived to evacuate them.

Since Sunday, settlers have been blocking the homes on the outskirts of the village, preventing people from entering or leaving, and have also cut the electricity lines.

Youssef Hassan, the owner of one of the homes, tells The Times of Israel that large numbers of settlers arrived from outposts in the area this morning and that Border Police officers are using riot dispersal means against them, including tear gas.

Central Command chief Maj. General Avi Bluth has also arrived in the area.

Last night, a Palestinian ambulance reached one of the homes and evacuated a mother and her two daughters, one of whom required medical treatment.
