Elkin slams ‘extreme left’ Labor party

Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and Heritage Ze’ev Elkin says the TV report on the secret talks between Herzog and Abbas “proves once again that the Likud’s victory in the past election saved the State of Israel from a suicidal plan of the most dangerous concessions, including the division of Jerusalem.

“We learned once again just how extreme-left the Labor party of today is, that a chasm of extremism divides us from them and that they have no place in a government led by Likud,” he says.
