Firefighters are working to extinguish a fire that broke out in the Golan Heights following the IDF’s interception of Iranian drones in the region.

The blazes were caused by the debris from the pair of downed drones, the Fire and Rescue Service says.

Yair Elkayam, the fire service’s Northern District chief, says firefighters have been “deployed throughout the region with a high level of readiness” alongside reinforcements.
