IDF declares ‘special situation’ in some West Bank settlements due to rocket fire threat
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Israel Defense Forces declares a “special situation” in several West Bank settlements following a security assessment.
The military says the declaration is due to the threat of rocket fire from Gaza, not the unrest in the West Bank.
The settlements where emergency rules will go into effect are Oranit, Alfei Menashe, Elkana, Etz Efraim, Tzofim, Karnei Shomron and Sha’arei Tikva.
