The IDF says troops operating in northern Gaza located a rocket launcher yesterday loaded with two rockets that were “ready to be fired at the State of Israel.”

The military says the launcher was found during a weapons-search operation in the Jabalia area as part of ongoing efforts to dismantle Hamas terror infrastructure along the so-called “Yellow Line” in the northern Gaza Strip.

A military source says the launcher appears to be old and was found in a shaft. It was likely left in place from before the October ceasefire.

According to the IDF, forces under the Southern Command are deployed in the area under the terms of the ceasefire and will continue to act to remove any immediate threats.
