IDF says Hezbollah drone operator killed in strike in southern Lebanon

The IDF says the Hezbollah operative targeted and killed earlier today in the Zaita area of southern Lebanon was a drone operator involved in rehabilitating the terror group’s military infrastructure.

According to the military, the operative – identified as Alaa Khourani – was engaged in restoring Hezbollah infrastructure, activating forces, and attempting to collect intelligence on IDF troops in the area.

The IDF says his activities constituted a violation of the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon, adding that it will continue to act to remove any threat and defend Israel.
