Israel to sue families of Palestinian terrorists for compensation

Israel is reportedly set to file a slew of lawsuits against the families of Palestinian terrorists in a bid to compensate state spending relating to the attacks carried out by their relatives.

Last month, prosecutors from the Jerusalem District Court filed the first such damages suit, in which the state is seeking NIS 8 million ($2.3 million) from the wife and children of Fadi al-Qunbar, the Haaretz daily reports.

Qunbar killed four soldiers in January in a truck ramming attack before being shot and killed by soldiers.
