A Jewish man is reportedly knifed in the chest in an altercation in Brooklyn.
Video released by the Crown Heights Shomrim neighborhood watch group shows a man in a black jacket lunging at the chest of another man.
The local COL Live news site, focused on the Chabad community in Crown Heights, and Yaacov Behrman, a Crown Heights community leader, say the victim is Jewish.
The NYPD tells The Times of Israel that the incident took place at around 4:10 p.m. at Kingston Ave. and Lincoln Pl. in Crown Heights.
Officers responding to the scene found a 35-year-old man with a stab wound to the chest. The injured man was transported to the hospital in stable condition, the NYPD says.
There are no arrests and an investigation is underway, the NYPD says.
The NYPD does not address a question about whether the incident is being investigated as a hate crime.
The incident comes after youths from Chabad were assaulted Monday on a subway.
