Jordanian army: 3 Iranian missiles targeting Aqaba intercepted, fourth fell in open area

The Jordanian military says three Iranian ballistic missiles launched at the southern city of Aqaba were intercepted while a fourth hit an open area, according to a statement carried by the official Petra news agency.
There are no reports of injuries in the attack.
The missiles were shot down by an American air defense system. The IDF also fired Iron Dome interceptors to shoot down fragments that potentially threatened the nearby city of Eilat.
