Kahlon attends inauguration of new scanner at Allenby crossing alongside PA minister
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleFinance Minister Moshe Kahlon inaugurates a new system for scanning shipping containers at the Allenby border crossing with Jordan alongside Palestinian Authority Economy Minister Abeer Odeh.
The new system will allow for a substantial increase in the flow of goods between Israel, Jordan and the PA, according to the Walla news site.
Kahlon’s attendance at the inauguration ceremony alongside Odeh comes after Hadashot TV news reported Monday he’ll meet next week with PA Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah, in the first such meeting between senior Israeli and Palestinian officials since Trump’s December 6 recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
