Man killed in crash during police chase in south
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA man in his forties was killed overnight when a stolen car carrying six suspects overturned during a police chase near Dimona, police say.
Officials say the suspects fled after attempting to steal a safe from a local gas station, and had earlier apparently robbed another station in the Arava area. As police gave chase, the suspects crashed into an electric pole, killing the man.
The five other suspects were injured and arrested. Police are investigating the incident.
