PM: Abbas told me sending PA firefighters was ‘right thing to do’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleNetanyahu says Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas told him that sending PA firefighters to help battle a wave of wildfires across Israel “was the right thing to do.”
Netanyahu called Abbas yesterday to thank him for dispatching the dozens of firefighters. The prime minister says Abbas also told him: “Let’s not start fires, let’s put them out and walk together toward peace.”
