The opposition Ra’am party and the Southern Islamic Movement denounce the overnight Israeli strikes in Gaza, claiming there’s a link between the operation and the coalition infighting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud and National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir.

“We denounce the Netanyahu-Ben Gvir government’s attack on families’ homes with women and children in order to solve a coalition crisis,” they say in a statement quoted by Channel 12 news.
