Security cabinet convenes to discuss Gaza operation
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe security cabinet convenes to deliberate the military operation in the Gaza Strip, ahead of expected rocket attacks by Palestinian terrorists in response to the assassination of three senior Islamic Jihad members.
MK Yuli Edelstein, who heads the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, is taking part in the meeting as an observer.
Later, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and top security officials will give a televised address at 8 p.m.
