Sephardic chief rabbi condemns ‘despicable’ synagogue attacker

Sephardic Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef condemns the gunman who opened fire in a Pittsburgh synagogue yesterday as “despicable.”

“I was horrified to hear of the murder of innocent Jews in Pittsburgh, targeted just because they were Jews by a despicable murderer overflowing with anti-Semitic hatred,” he says in a statement.

Yosef also warns that anti-Semitim is rising in the US, and urges American Jews to “exercise caution” in the coming future.
